Lisa Haessler is the Comprehensive Community Planning (CCP) Advisor at Nokiiwin Tribal Council, where she supports CCP projects and related initiatives within Nokiiwin-affiliated First Nations. Since joining Nokiiwin in 2021, Lisa has closely collaborated with communities to develop, complete, and implement their Comprehensive Community Plans in sustainable and practical ways. With over a decade of experience in First Nation economic development and community planning, Lisa brings enthusiasm, creative problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to collaborative, community-led development to her work. She returned to Northwestern Ontario after earning a degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo. In her free time, Lisa enjoys supporting local food initiatives, engaging in creative arts, and embarking on outdoor adventures with her husband and two dogs, while also working on completing their off-grid strawbale home in Kaministiquia.
