Taylor Putnam is the Head Policy, Strategy, and Partnerships at the Building Ontario Fund. He previously held roles at the Ontario Ministry of Finance and Treasury Board.
Launched in 2024, the Building Ontario Fund works with trusted institutional investors and Indigenous partners to attract new investment in priority infrastructure across six priority areas – affordable housing, long-term care, energy, transportation, municipal and community infrastructure, and critical minerals. In 2025, the Ontario government announced that the Fund would take over the administration of the province’s $3B Indigenous loan guarantee program, which supports Indigenous equity ownership in revenue generating energy, critical minerals, and resource infrastructure.
