Senior Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking - Indigenous Markets, RBC

Katelyn Lawson, also known as Osawi Atik Iskwew (Golden Caribou Woman), is a proud Cree Iskwew from Cross Lake First Nation in Northern Manitoba. Since starting her RBC career in 2015 as an Indigenous Summer Student Intern, she has advanced into roles focused on empowering Indigenous communities across Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. With a Business Administration diploma from RRC Polytech, Katelyn provides financial guidance to Indigenous governments, businesses, and organizations, fostering trusted, collaborative relationships.

As national Co-Chair of RBC’s Royal Eagles employee resource group, she leads grassroots campaigns that promote Truth and Reconciliation through education and engagement. Her volunteer work continues to amplify Indigenous voices, supporting mental wellness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship in the communities she serves.
