Michael S. Jacobs is the CEO of Cambium Indigenous Professional Services (CIPS) Inc. and a proud Anishinaabe from Curve Lake First Nation. With over 30 years of experience in the Indigenous consulting industry, Mike specializes in delivering management and advisory services for projects involving Indigenous communities. He excels at translating project goals into practical, achievable solutions for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous clients, working effectively with all levels of government, leadership, and community members.
Mike is Co-Chair of the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB), where he advocates for Indigenous-owned small and medium-sized enterprises. He also serves as Vice Chair of Green Communities Canada, is a member of the Implementation Committee for the Canadian Sustainability Standards Board, and sits on the Reporting and Assurance Standards Oversight Council (RASOC). Additionally, Mike is a Board Member of the Ontario First Nation Technical Services Corporation, where he continues to support Indigenous capacity building and sustainable development.
