With a career working at the intersection of social impact, entrepreneurship, and venture capital, Tristan is the CEO of the Deshkan Ziibiing Investment Corporation (DZIC) and Founding Partner with Propel Impact Capital. During previous leadership roles, Tristan advised on or directed over $2 billion CAD in economic development activity and, in recognition of their work, was named by Future of Good as one of Canada’s top 21 Young Impact Leaders in 2019 and Forty Under 40 by the Ottawa Business Journal in 2023.
Beyond work, Tristan serves on the board of directors for the Table of Impact Investment Practitioners, Boann Funds, and Giyak Mishkawzid Shkagmikwe Corporation (GMS), which is the economic development arm of Atikameksheng Anishnawbek.
Tristan holds degrees from Mount Royal University, University of Toronto, Queen's University, and Cornell University. Originally from the Prairies, they live in Southwest Ontario with their spouse and an inordinate number of houseplants.
