A Wellness Workshop by Charlene Bruno w/ Bruno Consulting

Understanding stress is important to start managing it. This workshop goes into focused strategies to effectively manage stress and an understanding of how it affects our daily life.

Self-care is one component to managing our mental health. This workshop teaches participants relaxation techniques, self-care strategies, various teachings on well being and why integrating a daily routine is important. Each participant will leave the course with their individual toolkit for managing stress and integrating health practices into daily life. Here are some of the techniques taught in the session:

  • Wellness morning routine
  • Gentle body movements
  • Breathing techniques
  • Self awareness exercise
  • Gratitude exercise
  • Brain health practices
  • Grounding Prayer / Meditation
  • Journaling and strengths exercise
  • Visualization and incantations

About the Facilitator:

Charlene Bruno is a member of the Samson Cree Nation in Maskwacis AB in Treaty 6 territory, she graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2008 and started her business Bruno Consulting in 2008. Charlene has been studying and practicing self development, self care techniques for the past 16 years and through self discovery, taking several different types of trainings including ThetaHealing, Spring Forest Qigong, Radial Well Being, Unleash the Power Within and Choices Ltd. Charlene is a certified Life Coach through the Coaching Institute and actively practices Quigong and Energy Medicine Yoga. She has found effective methods to reduce/manage stress and integrate a healthy routine into each day.
